Russian watchdog can revoke license of Listvyaznaya mine
MOSCOW, Jan 18 (PRIME) -- A special commission will consider the materials of Listvyazhnaya mine checks and may revoke the license for coal mining, a Federal Service for Natural Resources Oversight official said on Tuesday.
The authority found out that Listvyazhnaya did not produce coal at the level set by the technical plan.
On November 25, methane exploded at the mine, when 285 people were underground. In total, 51 people, including five rescue team members, fell victims to the tragedy.
